Our events focus on the wellbeing of parents and the family unit as a whole! Your children are welcome at every class & event, from book club to date nights! We have a growing timetable of events and we always love to hear from any local educators and service providers. If you would like to collaborate with Motherzen and bring your class or workshop to our space please get in touch!
Our Community sessions are open to all parents, grandparents & carers.
We know how lonely and isolating early parenthood can be, please join us for our community sessions! Whether you’d like to grab some food, a warm drink and chat to other families, or take some time to wind down time and read a book, we’re here to you to come as your are and share the load of parenting!

Baby Session, Tuesday 12:30-15:00
A refreshing, parent-centred twist on the classic Stay & Play experience! A cozy space where little ones can explore and play, while parents sip, relax and connect.
Enjoy a cup of your favourite brew while your child engages in role play & sensory activities. It’s the perfect blend of playtime for them and ‘me time’ for you!
Come for the play, stay for the Café vibes!
Our café environment is made for parents, breastfeeding friendly with a calm play space aimed at 0-5 years.
BRING YOUR OWN Baby (and Booze!)
At MotherZen, we recognise the importance of reconnecting with not only yourself after having children, but your partner too. It’s important to make time as a couple to enjoy the “pre-baby” things, but that shouldn’t have to mean leaving your baby if you don’t want to!
Think mellow music, dim lighting, charcuterie, a safe space for your baby to play or sleep and helping hands too!
We welcome babes in arms to join our date night made especially for parents!
How it
works
To ensure a comfortable and peaceful experience for all, Motherzen operates on a booking system. Simply book your slot online to reserve your place for “Play & Cafe” as well as our timetable of events. You are welcome to drop in and see if there’s availability for walk-ins, (or follow us on instagram for updates) as space may be limited.
Please note our daily entry fee helps us provide the consistent support, classes, and space that make Motherzen special.
